The Fallacy of Resource Limitations

One of the bullshit talking points trotted out by aging white environmentalists is the bugaboo of resource limitations. As I have previously said, this world view has more to do with a subconscious recognition of their declining power rather than any reality.

Consider the evidence-

Until coal was used on a large-scale, wood was the “constraint”. But wasn’t coal always there? It took us time to discover and use it on a large scale, but it was always there- though we were unaware of it.

Before the Haber-Bosch process of industrial nitrogen fixation was discovered the largest feeder source of inorganic nitrates were- farms in India and salt deposits in the Atacama desert.

Uranium ores were once considered useless, and no “well-known” scientist believed that controlled nuclear fission was possible- as late as 1938. So what changed?

Extracting crude oil from under the ocean was once considered economically unsound and technologically impossible. As recent events show, the real limitations have more to do with trying to cut corners than technical or economic feasibility.

So here is my somewhat heretical idea-

The biggest constraints in resource development are the attitudes and actions of those who believe that progress or change is not possible. Such morons also have the delusion of knowledge, intelligence and often a “university degree” to back it up. Moreover, such “wise” fucktards are often found in administrative positions of various societies.

But if we had always listened to such morons, everyone would still be living in mud huts and foraging for food. All progress occurred inspite of the warnings, delusions, predictions and bullshit spouted by these morons. Since these morons are disingenuous shysters obsessed with control, it is not possible to reason with them.

Your two options are ignore them or liquidate them. Guess which one would be more entertaining?

You make good points about our attitudes being wrong. But wouldn’t you agree that there are are definite, finite limits on resources?

    As finite as the universe?

Fuck, as much as I enjoy your blog, your unashamed racism and contempt for white people disgusts me to my core and this was the final straw for me. Pack your bags and fuck off to China if you hate what western countries have to offer. We have our faults and we are far from perfect, but Ill take what the anglosphere has given us over the 3rd world shit everyone else has to deal with on a daily basis.

You are in position to tell me anything- in case you did not realize that.

At least you are given the freedom to speak your mind as you see fit.

You do not give me anything.

That is something predominantly WHITE PEOPLE bled for and I can promise you that the luxury is something you would not be afforded in many Asian countries. Believe it or not we all suffer persecution of some sort and to some degree. That is life. The white man is a victim of his own success and is painted as a devil far too often. We have become the ultimate scapegoat and I am sick to death of it.

    Not my problem!

Im a white conservative who fucks whores. The way you carry on, its as if the only conservative people are bible bashing, racist idiots who are obsessed with money and status. Do you feel that socially inadequate you have had to resort to constant cries of victimisation? You are no better than feminists looking for scapegoats.

I do not care about the opinions of useless people.

Act like a man, accept who you are and what you are and make the most of it. If that means working a crappy job to support your love for whoring, good luck to you. If that means writing a book one day to support yiur love for whoring, good luck to you. Hell, you “get lucky” and manage to start a successful business of some sort? Good luck to you.

I would rather watch people like you disappear- more entertaining.

Oh and there are finite resources. Its one of the factors that drives commodity prices ffs.

    Keep telling yourself that.

On a side note, get a forum up if you can. You raise enough points for interesting discussion and I would rather debate you than slander you.

    Will do in October.

I call BS on this. For all we know, Advocatus Diaboli could be *writing from Asia right now*. Even from China. The old “at least in the west you can speak freely” thing seems mythological to me, up there with the idea that the entire continent of Africa is one endless barren desert of primitive famine.

So you’re saying there is an unlimited amount of oil, coal, uranium etc. on this planet to be exploited?

The uranium concentration of sea water is low, approximately 3.3 mg per cubic meter of seawater (3.3 ppb). But the quantity of this resource is gigantic and some scientists believe this resource is practically limitless with respect to world-wide demand. That is to say, if even a portion of the uranium in seawater could be used the entire world’s nuclear power generation fuel could be provided over a long time period.

According to the OECD, uranium may be extracted from seawater using this method for about $300/kg-U. The experiment by Seko et al. was repeated by Tamada et al. in 2006. They found that the cost varied from ¥15,000 to ¥88,000 (Yen) depending on assumptions and “The lowest cost attainable now is ¥25,000 with 4g-U/kg-adsorbent used in the sea area of Okinawa, with 18 repetitions.” With the May, 2008 exchange rate, this was about $240/kg-U.

Did you notice that the behavior of those “wise” fucktards is similar to women?
