Here is a clip about the events on an MTV show called “Teen Mom”. Note the tone and direction of the discussion, as her behavior towards the guy is normalized. The prevailing social attitude seems to be “it is all about the baby”

Expect more of this in unmarried couples and those living together. Women making more money and feeling the guy isn’t pulling his weight or playing too much Xbox = more guy beating. Oh and the guy can’t call the cops or he’ll be arrested.
More evidence that women do not respect weak men. His body language is that of defeat. He actually cowers when she hits him. F’n loser. He obviously has no options or he’d leave her, but instead he sticks around for beating after beating.
Of course he can’t hit her, that would be dumb and another sign of weakness. The only thing to do is to grow a pair and start over. This is the guys fault. I guarantee she would melt if a strong guy were there.

Update:
Just saw a follow up of the couple with Dr. Drew on some TV channel today. In between sobs, she says she “whites out” and can’t control herself. This is the hindbrain taking over. When the footage is played back she doesn’t remember it being that bad. Her conscious mind takes a back seat and submits control to lower functions. Her guy (I can’t say man) constantly defers to her and forgives her for everything. Most guys with even a modicum of game will know that women loathe making all the decisions and they also need to be called on their shit. She cannot prevent feeling contempt for him because it is rooted in the basic programming of her psyche. He doesn’t stand up for himself and she feels stuck with him because of the child, which only serves to amplify the anger.
And then Dr. Drew makes it worse by encouraging relationship counseling. Nothing destroys a man’s manliness more than talking about feelings. This can only end badly ‘cuz that guy has no manliness to spare.
