Are “Certified” Nutritionists Murderers?

The distinction between homicide and man-slaughter often comes down to judging whether the perpetrator was aware of their action’s effect. Let me illustrate that point with an example-

A fatal car accident caused by bad judgement alone is not considered as serious as one caused by drunk driving, which in turn is less heinous than deliberately causing one. We are far more repelled by those who knowingly kill or hurt others, than those who do so by accident. Let me extend this concept of culpability into a different direction.

Many official government policies and subsidies on food are affected by the opinions of those considered to be official “experts” in nutrition. These people have, over the last 40-odd years, espoused views and promoted ideologies which call for people to eat less fat, protein and more carbohydrates.

Paradoxically the incidence of obesity and metabolic illness has also skyrockted during that time.

These scumbags defend their policy by saying that “people are not following their guidelines properly”. But isn’t that rather similar to people saying that Stalin did not represent true communism, or the current kleptocracy in the USA not representing true capitalism?

While I am not suggesting that people should live on meat only and avoid all carbohydrates, it hard to ignore that the incidence of metabolic illnesses has a rather striking association with percentage of calories coming from carbohydrates. By their own calculations, there has been an increase in the percentage of calories from carbohydrates from about 50% to almost 60% during the same time period when the rates of obesity and metabolic illness skyrocketed.

It is worthwhile to note that populations with similar percentage intakes of calories as carbohydrates (Mexican, Indian) also coincidentally have a much higher risk of portal obesity and metabolic illnesses. Could it be due to magic, genetics or something as mundane as chronic high carbohydrate load?

But returning to the point about nutritionists- aren’t they supposed to know better? Why support and stand behind something that hurts people in a very obvious way. Is it for profit? Is it for conformity of for some other reasons?

Let me put it this way- either they are stupid or they are malicious. Since most of them do not see themselves as stupid, we have to assume that they are malicious and their professional advice is meant to deliberately hurt and kill people.

Hence it is very plausible that “certified’ nutritionists are murderers.

    Well, look at their training. I had a run in with one once and all she could do was quote the US food pyramid.

    The way I figure it, the only people who should be teaching nutrition should either understand the theory or have lots of experience.

    In practical terms, all nutritionists should be either biochemists or, the group of people with the most experience studying the effect of food on the body, bodybuilders.

  2. hahahaha, Diablo, one of the things you may or may not know is that corn is subsidzed by the gov’t–corn is put into everything—soda used to be made of sugar, it is now made from corn syrup. If you can buy mexican coca-cola (that’s actuall coca cola-not their other famous import) then you will see how much better cane sugar tastes….

    Most processed food is bad. I might go as far as saying that if you ate “clean” food–the food pyramid might actually work. (I am not a nutritionist though.)

    The elites know very well the effects of the agendas they push. “Certified” nutritionists and other liars are merely the priesthood that serves them.

    I assume you know about the Paleo / Primal diet?

    Basically, we evolved over millions of years eating what we could hunt and gather (meat, fruit, veg, fish, nuts) and are not so well adapted to grains and lots of sugar.

        Exactly. And how, mind you, did we manage to get anything but fruit and vegetables until fruit and vegetables allowed us to get a large enough brain to create tools?

        I would really like seeing someone kill a zebra or something with his bare hands and then eat it raw.

    Great post…your “they are stupid or they are malicious” thought reminds me of a game my wife and I play. When a family member (usually my mother) pulls a dumb move, we bet if they are being sneaky or stupid. This game is good at work too.

    The real problem is most do not want to think for themselves, research, learn or take responsibility for their own health. Easier to be a sheep and drink whatever kool aid the “experts” pour in your cup.

    Lol.. what kind of “nutritionist” would recommend more carbohydrates and less protein and fats? It is exactly the opposite. Less fats maybe, but any real nutritionist recommend a minimal daily calories from protein. Carbohydrates like “water+sugar” (i.e. soda) or any type of alcohol are simply “empty calories” (they maybe good only if you have a very hard physical activity).
