Will The Execution of Troy Davis Turn Into A “Black Swan” Event?

Unless you have been living in a hole for the last week, you might have heard about the imminent execution of Troy Davis. Whether you believe he is guilty or innocent is immaterial to the course of events that might follow his execution.

In my opinion, his execution might become a “black swan” event for a number of reasons-

1. This is not 1860, 1960, 1980 or even 2000. The demographic profile and power of the white part of the US population is in steep decline.

2. We live in the age of cellphones, smartphones, social media and ubiquitous internet access.

3. The president of the USA is nominally black, even if he is a Wall Street lapdog.

4. The old white rotting CONservatives and tea-partiers have not adapted to their rapidly diminishing power in the world.

5. There is a massive undercurrent of disenchantment with the status quo, institutions, experts and current direction of the nation.

6. The law and order scam has metastasized in the USA and is growing at rates not compatible with civil society.

7. The case against the person in question is rather weak..

8. The public momentum behind the belief in him being treated in an unfair manner is rather large, and is magnified by the factors mentioned above.

I am not saying that this will be ‘that’ event, but the biggest changes in human history were often set in motion by small events which ultimately had little to do with whatever followed. They just provided the spark.

I respectfully disagree. He was executed an hour ago and although people are upset, they will go home, angrily update their twitters and facebooks and go on living their lives. In a couple of weeks, nobody will even remember this.

ps, I think he was guitly.

Change the underlying conditions and an action no longer has the expected results.

There will be a black swan event but this won’t be it.

    As to your points,

#1 White decline? Yes. Steep decline? No. Whites still have most to all political control and most all the money and the military (culturally as much as ethnically) and that will remain for a long time.

A system without integrity is inconsequential. Your opponent won’t play by your rules. Think in terms of Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan.

#2 Actually old media carried this story just fine, those techs are 100% disruptive but not in a case like this. They work better for some kind of police shooting or beat down or the like, not a quiet private execution.

It is the constant drip of news which destroys a system.

#3 Obama doesn’t care and isn’t going to be involved in this. His impact oddly won’t be felt till he is gone. Once that happens, the stabilization effects will wear off .

#4 I agree but those guys have at least another decade of power left.

But they will not die of natural causes and it is likely that many of their younger descendants might also expire of unnatural causes.

    #5 I agree 100%.

#6 Agreed but an aging population is happy to double down on tyranny and so it won’t be going anywhere. Young people really don’t count for much or matter much as their labor is little needed with free trade and as the US is the consumer of last resort they can get away with pushing paper for a long time.

Complex systems are chaotic. Few foresaw WW1 and even WW2, let alone the scale and final impact.

#7 Innocent people are incarcerated and executed quite regularly in the US. No one really cares.

Once, you could buy and sell people in the center of many US cities- and that was normal.

    #8 I really doubt it.

Read some history. Do you really think that the French revolution started because of some well organized struggle for reform? Do you think that ANY revolution or change in human history had a premeditated ignition point?

Just my opinion but the real risk of a Black Swan is if Whiskey and his ilk get their way and the social safety net is canceled or greatly reduced and /or the US goes into collapse.
    —-

That would be actually quite helpful in eliminating most older whites and many of the younger ones too.

This will be after Obama is gone if it happens at all. Also even if the safety net stays once Obama is gone or if things don’t improve and someone gets the Rodney King treatment or shot, all hell may break lose.

However it won’t be a “Not White vs. White” thing but something far more complex. Street level Blacks and Hispanics do not get along very well and are unlikely to join up and more importantly there are other fissures in society that could lead in any direction. Junta, dissolution of the union, dictatorship or some kind of Prayer of the Rollerboys scenario.

They don’t have to.. Real change is never planned or coordinated. It just occurs.

Or heck the US might just go all out evil. And yeah sure cell phones all that, they are not winning anything in Syria. For all I know such a plan is ready to go and includes Internet censorship, shutting off the grid and mass slaughter.

The USA is now too fragmented and full of cynical self-seekers to get anything done.

Believe me if the US goes that crazy, while yes it will get out (some) no one will do a thing. No one can do a thing. They won’t invade Syria and they won’t invade here .

Faction wise the UN, well we are their brute squad and China is not going to risk it. Africa has no food and Whites really are in steep decline in Europe. I suppose the Central and South regions of the Americas could claim some turf, maybe. They have major major trouble of their own.

You don’t have to shoot a dying person.

I have noticed that you hold disdain for those who are or have at least been perceived to be ‘successful,’ be they Whites or for that matter the United States of America. These feeling are common among liberals.

I didn’t hear about this guy until a few days ago. Fucker popped out of nowhere. And now he’s dead.

I lived and worked in Los Angeles during the time of the L.A. riots. It’s quaint, almost patrician, to think that all it took was a brief, poorly shot videotape by someone who happened to have a handy-cam to set all of that anger off.

Now we can video public mass executions on the white house lawn in HD on our cell phones and people will go back to Dancing with the Stars after they share it on Face Book.

how come you never talk about shit like this?
    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44626194/ns/us_news-life/

That is peanuts compared to what finance types screw out of society.

First, what is the basis for such a statement? There may be one finance guy screwing society of billions. But there may be thousands of union types screwing society out of millions. So the net result may be the same. Second, You can always highlight both.

  7. Mr Stricter

Why should he highlight both ? The union guys theft benefits society for the most part, all that money gets spent or frittered away. The same cannot be said for the money taken by the fat cats.

The problem is in your resenting someone else getting a bit ahead and instead of trying to make your situation broadly better, you’d rather push someone else down. You should be demanding Union scale for yourself not bitching about that.

As an analogy, instead of working with the other guy to get into the lifeboat, you’d rather drag him into the water with you and let a fat cat have both your seats.

That attitude has to go if you want a worthwhile future.

This was an unfortunate situation, but unfortunately it’s quite normal. Innocent folks are executed, murdered and imprisoned and no one really gives a shit. Plus the fact that most folks in prison are nonviolent persons.

As far as Obama goes, you have to understand something here:

He may have responded to the murders of Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown. But that’s all he’ll do. I doubt if he’ll take any action or put any law into legislation to demilitarize the police. It’s the same reason why he never commented on the Jena Six back in 2007 – the year before his presidency. He didn’t do that because that would have been political suicide and if he came across as an “angry black man” in a Malcolm X kind of way, it would have struck a serious chord with… you know who. Folks were already pissed about his affiliation with Reverend Wright.

I believe history is repeating itself because I’ve been told that “White folks are pissed that we have a black president.” This could be one reason why cops are acting really out of pocket.

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/08/06/nj-cop-constitution-obama/13677935/

Most cops are white men and they want to maintain the status quo so bad, even if that means killing off a few “others” who they just don’t like.
