Why do CEOs of Silly Valley Corporations Often Give off a ‘Manlet’ Vibe?

Was feeling a bit lazy and therefore didn’t complete the article which I had originally intended to post, so here is a short and humorous placeholder. OK.. Have you noticed that many CEOs and founders of corporations in Silly Valley are a bit on smaller side? Some of you might think that this might have to do with the way they dress, their age or something along those lines. However a quick investigation (using Google) reveals that is not the case.

Consider the american bargain basement Lex Luthor.. I mean Jeff Bezos. According to Google, his height is 1.71 m (5 feet 7 inches) tall. He shares that height with Mark Suckerberg.. I mean Zuckerberg, who is also 1.17 m (5 feet 7 inches) tall. Sunder Pichai, though 1.8 m (5 feet 11 inches) tall has the body build of a starving Ethiopian farmer- in addition to a highly effeminate body language. Look at any of his presentations to understand what I am talking about. FYI, Sundar = beautiful (feminine) in many Indian languages.

Sergey Brin comes in at 1.73 m (5 feet 8 inches). Jack Drax.. I mean Dorsey, though 1.8 m (5 feet 11 inches) tall has an ectomorphic build- in addition to well.. not especially masculine facial features. Maybe that is why he needs a beard? Travis Kalanick, at 1.73 m (5 feet 8 inches) again, is always acting as if he was at a TED talk and that particular photo is representative of how he likes to be presented. So what is going on? Is there too much soy in the diet of these Silly Valley CEOs? Why so so many CEO from the Bay Area look like manlets?

What do you think? Comments?

The overcompensation comes in the form of promising more than they can actually deliver, and then it’s “because our workers are stupid, they weren’t able to deliver on MY vision”(actually the vision was never written down as something with metrics).

These people routinely fire others at the drop of a hat too, so that their “masculinity” goes unquestioned.
I think a lot of CEOs would fire less frivolously, if the person they fired could request a boxing match before leaving.
After all, it’s only fair if they “break somebody else’ ricebowl, that the person has a sporting chance to break their jaw” … in the case of Google, HR is so thorougly enmeshed in protecting the company, that many people cannot even say they worked there, or have to disguise what they did there.

The FAANG companies are also notorious for ensuring their engineers “cannot jump to another company for higher pay” – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-Tech_Employee_Antitrust_Litigation

Quite frankly your implication that men under 6 feet tall are less manly sounds like something a feminist would say. How come it is okay to bash short men but if anyone dares suggest that David Futrelle or Lindy West should lay off the cheezeburgers and soda pop, it’s “misogyny” ™ ????

It is not about their height. It is about how their physical appearance affects the way they see themselves and interact with rest of world.

If it’s not about their height, why do you continually bring it up in your essay? Lets see what you look like exactly – I’m sure you’re nothing worthy to brag about given that you’re an Indian beta schlub. Sundar is Indian and probably a vegan vegetarian idiot. That explains his Ethiopian frame – bad genes as is indicative of many Indian men. I’m sure you fall into that category. Resorting to ad hominem attacks towards CEOs of Silicon Valley just basically shows how insecure you are with your own self, since you have to resort to prostitutes instead of being able to find a woman for yourself, but you just resort to the one thing you liberals resort to for the blame – racism. Your lack of any great looks, and gloating about other successful people just shows that you’re a miserable idiot. It’s one thing to attack ideas, it’s another to attack folks on their physical attributes.

If you are defending rich assholes without getting paid, you are a sucker. Then again.. I am not surprised.

As far as the relation of their physique to their mindset is concerned.. Have you noticed that CEO of IT companies tend to be especially passive-aggressive, non-confrontational but underhanded and far more demanding on constant public praise than their non-IT counterparts. Connect the dots, if you can.

I’m not “defending rich assholes”. I hate rich assholes with all their virtue-signaling mantras. I attack their IDEAS and PHILOSOPHIES! I don’t go around making fun of their height or genetic traits. How about you connect the dots? So far, your comments about Kavanaugh have been proven to be FALSE, and your theories about Elon Musk and Tesla have also proven to be FALSE. So perhaps you should evaluate your arguments before thinking you understand the occult world around more than anyone does. Kapish?

So tell me why are you so certain that somebody like Kavanaugh (like other white guys born into wealth prior to the 2000s) was not a bit rapey when he was an alcoholic teen? Also how does this allegedly “mentally superior guy” end up spending most of his official income on gambling, socializing and entertainment? We have never gotten an explanation as to how somebody with a moderately well-paying official job and considerable debt can suddenly put a large downpayment for his new house- without changing jobs. Did that money fall from the sky?

As far as Elon is concerned, the guy is a cross between a snake-oil salesman and somebody with hypomania. We will soon see if his shoddily made cars can compete with quality and reliable e-cars such as those made by other normal car manufacturers- such as those which debuted in past two-three months. SpaceX is partially “successful” only because ULA was taking everybody for a ride with their borderline extortion tactics.

Don’t count your chickens before they have hatched!

LOL all these men are high status, incredibly wealthy individuals.I don’t think their height hindered them in any way.

The truth is there are very, very, very few men are natural alphas. Your Burt Reynolds and your Sean Connerys (a combination of good looks, winning personality and smooth body language) are super rare in the natural world. If some guy is tall, does that automatically make him alpha? No. André the Giant was big but most women thought he was a freak. And rightly so.

Humans are more complicated than a simple alpha-beta divide. In theory, Jeff Bezos is a beta male. But in practice, in the REAL world, he is ultra alpha. P.S. If Sundar lifted weights, he would look alpha.

Bezos in theory is a beta cuck. In the real world he is a billion dollar omega provider. He and Cuckerberg were just lucky for being in the right place at the right time. They will both be incels in todays dating market without the wealth and status.

We, Americans, no longer live in an environment where the best rises to the top. That is only possible in an environment with few limits and is very chaotic. The drawback of course is omnipowerful oligarchs but in exchange we get railroads and skyscrapers. The recent info released about the Ivy Schools shows how purely (((nepotistic))) the whole system has become where (((blood right))) makes up for any amount of other factors.

Meritocracy is (and always was) as real as Santa Claus. It is just that such things are far more obvious and hard to ignore in 2018, than say.. 1998

Simple. Nerds aren’t jocks. When in high school and having to compete with troglodytes, nerds quickly learn that they could get hurt badly. So rather than show off how much testosterone they generate, they tend to gravitate to where troglodytes seldom venture, and develop in ways which lead them into very lucrative career paths. With the limited number of lucrative professional sports positions, more nerds get wealthy than do troglodytes and get the last laugh.

Interesting, because the general corporate world favors taller men. And women also. Amazing that such a high percentage of women in marketing are at least 6-0 in height. That’s like 6-6 for men. Very remarkable.

That is what struck me when I first thought about writing this post.

Looked it up, in the U.S., 6-0 for a woman is almost 3 standard deviations out.

So there is considerable selection going on here. Maybe at many steps along the way.

And the rumors of well off families supplying their kids with human growth hormone may be true.

I like the bits where they claim “hard work got me the rewards in life I enjoy today” …
nope, it was primal instinct to obey the bigger person that got you those rewards, but like many people with hubris, they dislike hearing about luck playing more of a part.

On the flip side, the taller they are, the more food they consume and the more likely they are to get cancer … there’s always a balance in life.

I think Brin has the good distinction of being the CEO that had an affair while married – not the “i’m screwing interns like Larry Ellison(who is single, but previously married and divorced 4 times)” … and of course, the girl he was schtupping, also previously used her sexuality to get close to Hugo Barra.

Many of these “tech types” uplift girls who would never otherwise get a shot at management, but at the same time, those girls be quite plain. Quite a mystery how Amanda Rosenberg got her bearded clam around Sergey’s babymaker. But I’m sure somewhere on mumsnet there’s a practical plan out there for that.

What’s wrong with the Ethiopian frame? I distinctly remember high school and college: Skinny white guys (same height as Sundar) with Ethiopian frames and big Adam’s apples got a LOT of pussy in that youthful age range (16 to 24). Louis C.K. has a joke about it.

The idea that you have to be some Hulk Hogan roided up bodybuilder to get pussy is a lie.

I think I project I-don’t-give-a-fuck attitude. I’ve never had a fear of talking to woman. One thing leads to another or one drink leads to another and…boom, I’m banging her doggystyle in her crappy apartment. That’s why I didn’t need escorts so far. I’ve always been good at sinking my teeth into post-college (25 to 32) chicks and young MILFs.
I never had any luck with the really young ones (18 to 22).

If you had the looks to appeal to them, you wouldn’t need to get them drunk to convince them to have sex with you …

It’s because they were White. The most desired race.

Is that why the alt-right and white supremacist movements are full of white guys who cannot get anything other than asian chicks?

    AD, it is odd.

Once your business leaders were tall well-spoken men of competence if not outright charisma.

The trend is now to androgny, and a studied non-threatening persona – “never mind me…just call me Jeff…”
