Clip from Jimmy Dore Show about the Media Coverage of ‘RussiaGate’

I can be a little lazy about writing up posts which are not in my core areas of interest. On such occasions, it helps if somebody else writes a similar post or produces a video making a largely similar point. As some of you might remember, I have previously linked to clips from ‘The Jimmy Dore Show’. Here is one of the latest, in which he shows how corporate media talking heads have been predicting the ‘Fall of Trump’ and the ‘End of his Presidency’ for almost two years now. What makes this one especially hilarious is that even the phrasing and wording of their talking points have not changed much over past two years ago. And he is not the only one who had noticed it. Yesterday, I saw a tweet by Michael Tracey in which he made a similar observation.

FYI, Jimmy Dore is no fan of Trump and nor is Michael Tracey. Then again, they don’t have warm feelings for the establishment wing of Democratic Party either. Interestingly, both were far less certain about HRC’s chances of winning the 2016 presidential election. As I have also noted in a previous post, the establishment democrat obsession with RussiaGate fairly tales comes down to their unwillingness to accept that their anointed candidate in 2016 was rather unpopular and their neoliberal political platform has lost public support over past two decades. The same can be said about the larger political establishment, media and ‘deep state’ who see the election of that orange buffoon as a temporary aberration rather than one symptom of a much larger problem.

Anyway, have a look at the clip and marvel at the comically petulant behavior of our media ‘elite’. Don’t forget that each one of these talking heads make multiple millions per year.

What do you think? Comments?

I find it amazing that anyone cares what Michael Tracey thinks.

You are thinking about this guy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Tracey). I am talking about this one (https://twitter.com/mtracey).

Michael Tracey is most famous for his involvement in the case of the 1996 murder of JonBenét Ramsey, a murder case that is still unsolved. In 2004 he produced the film “Who Killed the Pageant Queen?” which claimed police were looking at a new prime suspect, Steven Gigax. The District Attorney denied that Gigax was ever a suspect.

After Gigax was exonerated, Tracey identified John Karr to police as a suspect that should be investigated. It turned out that Karr and Tracey had been exchanging email since 2002. Karr was a pedophile who jumped bail on child pornography charges and fled to Thailand. In his emails to Tracey he confessed to the murder. Tracey apparently knew that Karr had confessed before producing the video naming Gigax as a prime suspect. After Tracey publicly identified Karr, he was extradited from Thailand, but DNA tests showed he as not involved in the JonBenét Ramsey murder.

“You are thinking about this guy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Tracey). I am talking about this one (https://twitter.com/mtracey).”

I have assumed that the Michael Tracey on Twitter was the same Michael Tracey involved in the JonBenét Ramsey case, because his account is marked as verified. Apparently he is a different Michael Tracey. From reading his recent tweets he seems like a disgruntled Bernie supporter.

And a pretty successful freelance journalist.

I do not watch MSNBC, CNN or FOX. I cannot stand the the pointless over analysis and speculation about the story of the day. The only news I watch regularly is the PBS NewsHour.

The media is not about disseminating news and accurate information. It is about spreading desired opinions in the masses who don’t have the brain power to see that they are being gaslighted and led about by the nose. Look at the owners of the media and check out their political donations and coverage. They aren’t your friends, and they want to keep you distracted so that they can continue to lie, cheat, and steal from you. Their advertisers insist.
