Here is the Best and Most Realistic Review of “Cuties” (2020)

Yesterday, I came across what is probably the best and most realistic review of the now infamous film on NetFlix aka “Cuties”. Here is the link to that post. The very short version of review, which you should read in full, is as follows: Far from being an Epstein-friendly film, it is actually a pretty good and realistic (if disturbing) portrayal of the world of pubescent girls with minimal parental supervision who are immersed in a world saturated by social media and full of female influencers whose only currency is their sexuality.

Amy’s cohort mainlines the validation they receive on Instagram. Their only currency is their budding sexuality, so they exploit it even though they’re mostly unaware of the effect it has. They twerk, shimmy, and pout because that’s what the adults do and it gets them the attention they crave. The girls’ dance troupe is preparing for a competition and Amy earns their respect by introducing even more provocative moves that she sees in, while not exactly a porn movie, the kind of pornified hip-hop video that has catapulted Cardi B to fame.

And let us be realistic.. Kim Kardashian became super-rich and a celebrity only after deliberately “leaking” a tape of her having sex with her then BF, Ray J, in 2007. And before her, that is also Paris Hilton became famous in 2004, in spite of already being the heiress of a large fortune. Or just look at Instagram, Twitch or even YouTube. Sex appeal sells.. the more blatant, the better. Do you really think that kids and adolescents don’t notice this as they grow up? Seriously?

What you see in “Cuties” or any of the numerous talent shows in this country featuring scantily clad clad girls is a natural consequence of two convergent trends seen in neoliberalism. Firstly, traditional stable but boring jobs and careers are rapidly disappearing. Secondly, being a celebrity can bring you a lot of fame and fortune in a very short time. Almost everybody wants a hit of that sweet.. sweet.. celebrity status and for young girls there is one easy way to achieve that end.

The film correctly points out that the current western model of “female empowerment” and “girl power”, in practice, is just as exploitative as the traditional patriarchal societies. It just pretends to be different and more “humanistic” than the later. I do agree that it didn’t help that NetFlix promoted this movie in a way guaranteed to get some free publicity by stoking public outrage. Anyway.. here is the director of “Cuties” saying something similar.

What do you think? Comments?

One of the few movies I left.
Viewing torture and rape scenes makes me feel like an NPC bystander. I hate it when a movie tries to put you into the role of enabler.

The same problem with coverage of so-called ‘terrorism’ and mass shooters. There would be no point if it didn’t garner publicity, so everybody who ‘observers’ is de facto enabling.

That movie was powerful. Totally messed up. I saw it in the theater when it was released. I didn’t know or understand then what I know and understand now. I’ve seen Kids 2-3 times spanning time since then as I’ve aged. My reactions to it changed through the years as my values changed. I couldn’t watch it again at this point. Recommended, but view with moral sobriety.

Watch your children and be there for them. NYC is no place to raise a family.

13 didn’t have closeups on their crotches or make them twerk. The camera would pan away to insinuate that a sexual act is occurring but they never showed it. It was implied.

Oh, I can tell, this is a parody of that mulatto idiot Stonah wit a Bona…

He was a pest when us manly (but bi-curious) white men would try to discuss masculine things.

I can tell you are a fellow shite man, are you also an anti-natalist like moi? Like to bottom or top ( a proper white man knows to what i refer…)

“We need some little under-aged girls to act sexual and let us take some zoom closeups of your privates to make the point of how little girls are sexualized by constantly looking to play parts that will give them celebrity status by sexualizing themselves.”

    Makes sense.

The ratio on that Youtube video pretty much sums up the sentiment. And we all know the OP is pedophile Indian guy. So that explains his defense here.

It’s hilarious that analysis tries to blame “conservatives” when the whole wide world from all political sides is in agreement that this shit is just kiddie softcore porn. I mean, zooming up to the crotches of 11 year olds irrespective of whatever bullshit message the director is trying to explore here does not excuse the fact that you took closeups of young girls’ crotches.

It’s empowering if a woman does it, and child pornography if a man did it.

The other thing about the controversy of Cuties that isn’t mentioned, is …

I am pretty sure women/girls would perform all those ?stunts? for a guy they are attracted to, so the real controversy is that women/girls don’t want the existence of that “affection gap” to be made public.

I wonder how many of present-day twerkers have an existing good relationship.

I approve it if men can get money from women for sex work.

Most women are cheapskates unless they are attracted to the guy.

Unless yo are either a top 20% guy or the woman needs you for something she can’t easily do herself, you will be busy blasting rope into the air.

        Ola Pee Rei,

        “top 20% guy”

I top less than 5%, maybe 1 or 2% when ‘lil Ande Anglin is too drunk too pop a boner…

y’know iff you can get a “white guy with a tan” exception from Steve Sailer, then you can come to our bath house escapades…

        “blasting rope into the air”

oooh lala, is that like “blowing bubbles?”

these hindu muffins are sooo hot-0-phobic, I need to please the pallets with some screwdriver…

Spreading information about the “affection gap” is the quickest way to make sure men become aware that society only plans to use them and doesn’t care about their problems.

Of course, it will be a tragedy, but as with a lot of things that women start as a con job, they will suffer the most from it at the end.

“Spreading information about the “affection gap” is the quickest way to make sure men become aware that society only plans to use them and doesn’t care about their problems.”

What’s this A-ffection gap you speak of?

So you want me to give you a kiss on the lips after you’ve wrecked my rectum?

Cuddle afterwords, that sounds really gay Pee Red, really fucking gay…

      • P Ray
        September 19, 2020 at 9:52 am

Lel, I suspect one of the main reasons many people find it hard to be tolerant of gay people is because they “love to confront others with their acts of love while at the same time saying sexuality is personal”

A lot of incongruence earns beatings or insults, like how women tell men to be confident … but like to tear down confident regular/ugly guys.

That’s definitely a workable plan to foment hatred, so thanks for your vivid example.

Crotch close ups? Yea, overboard. I haven’t seen the film and I won’t see the film. There is no need for that level of detail. Stoking controversy in this manner gets old.

Keep your young daughters away from all this trash.

  5. September 18, 2020 at 9:19 am

I get what you are saying, but I will say this…

I have ZERO problem with sexual liberation and empowerment for both genders. But keep the kids THE HELL OUT of it.

Now of course, kids ain’t stupid and we all knew sex sells; some earlier than others. But anything like this that involves kids and teenagers, of course it won’t set well with people and governments. Even movies like “Kids”, “Thirteen”, and my favorite, “School On Fire”. People had shit to say about “American Pie” even – particularly CONservative human scum like Bill O’Reilly.

Meanwhile, websites like NAMBLA are still up and running and pedophiles run wild in religious centers, the Catholic church – Don’t get me started on Islamic scum who believe in arrange marriages, child marriages and are some of the biggest undercover gays… yet they stone women to death and castrate male slaves.

      September 18, 2020 at 11:13 am

The movie looked for underage girls, had them audition for the role by doing all the twerking in seductive outfits, to make a movie of how little girls will do anything for fame, attention, and money. Proof: look at the girls who signed up to play this role.

      • September 18, 2020 at 11:43 am

The blame has to be with the parents, if the girls were underaged. But the aforementioned movies that I have mentioned had adult actors who portrayed themselves as teens, yet the content still didn’t set well with the general public.

People in general do things for fame, money and attention. But no small kids had any business being portrayed as adults.

In that same vein, Zendaya (24) won best actress for her portrayal of 19-year-old Rue Bennett who is a “complicated*” girl with drug problems

*asterisk because now more people are understanding that means “haven’t found a guy that I find attractive enough to obey”.

You can make the reasonable conclusion that the undeniable reality of so many complicated girls/women is simply that the dicks around them are not attractive enough to make them drop to their knees.
